ABOUT
Liz Nemeth Photographer//Director specializing in authentic lifestyle story telling
Liz is a people person and whether communicating with a creative team, clients, or subjects, she puts everyone at ease. Liz cares about every aspect of the shoot. She is meticulous about the production and planning. Every shot matters whether a large scale production or an intimate portrait, she is committed to creating the most beautiful images to tell the most compelling story.
Having learned photography back with real film and darkrooms, she developed a natural style that is often achieved in the camera. Whether shooting in her studio, outside, or in a home, she uses lighting to enhance her subject. Her images never feel forced and require little post production. Whether working with professional talent or everyday people, Liz makes everyone feel at ease in front of the camera.
“I want to be more personally connected to my subjects and to my clients.”
During her senior year in high school Liz interned at a commercial photography studio in Boston. Upon graduation she took the much less traveled route of going to right to work as a freelance photographer's assistant. She assisted for 7 years before embarking on her career. Her first job was photographing the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics for the commemorative book. 21 years later, with two almost grown children, Liz is just as passionate as she was the first time processing film in the high school darkroom.
When Liz is not filming she can be found cooking, gardening, or throwing pottery. She has just begun playing tennis - not an easy sport to learn as an adult but she is hooked! Most weekends, from October through March, she is watching her son play hockey.
A favorite side project she does is creating photographic pieces for Artomat. She has created a "Collections Series" featuring her Pez Collection, her grandfather’s old photography gear, Macro bugs, and Crayons.

"Liz is the most creatively thoughtful and technically savvy photographer I've ever worked with. It's unique to find those qualities in the same professional. She really cares about the goal I'm wanting to achieve with the shoot and makes a plan to ACHIEVE that outcome, not just rinse and repeat from client to client. She brings her knowledge of fresh trends, her deep experience in photography and her creative eye to each shoot. It really shows in the final photos!"
